For the 2026 edition, organizers have released detailed operational guidelines covering transportation, tickets, payments, and on-site movement, aiming to reduce friction and congestion during the event.

Day Zero Tulum 2026 is scheduled for January 10, 2026, at a jungle venue near Tulum designed as a walkable circuit rather than a single open field. Shuttle-only access defines arrival and departure
Transportation is one of the most important changes to understand ahead of time. Access to Day Zero Tulum 2026 is exclusively through official shuttle services. Private drop-offs, taxis to the venue, or independent parking at the site itself are not permitted.
All shuttles depart from a single location in town: Tulum Mágico, located at Yalku Manzana 1, Lote 3, Las Ruinas, Tulum, Quintana Roo. Parking at this location is extremely limited and operates strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizers recommend ridesharing whenever possible.
Shuttle service begins at 4:00 p.m., with the final departure scheduled for 3:00 a.m. Once inside the festival, re-entry is not allowed. Attendees who leave the venue at any point will not be permitted to return, a rule intended to maintain capacity control and security.
Box office rules and ticket verification
The on-site box office operates from 4:30 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. Tickets may be available at the box office, but access is not guaranteed, particularly given the pace of advance sales. According to organizers, approximately 70 percent of total capacity was sold during presale.
There is no guest list under any circumstances. Entry requires a valid ticket or scannable code, and third-party proxies are not permitted for wristband pickup.
Getin is the sole official ticket provider for Day Zero Tulum 2026. Tickets purchased through unofficial channels carry a high risk of fraud and may be rejected at entry. All wristbands must be collected in person, with identification required.
Ticket types and entry conditions
Several ticket categories are available, each with specific conditions attached.
General Admission tickets provide standard access to the festival grounds. Sunset Tickets allow earlier entry but carry an important restriction. Attendees arriving after 7:00 p.m. with this ticket type must pay an additional 80 USD fee at the door.
A Locals Ticket is available exclusively to residents of Quintana Roo. Valid local identification is mandatory and will be checked at entry.
The XXTRA LOST option offers access to a fast-track entry lane and the possibility of upgrades at the box office, subject to availability.
Cashless payments through RFID wristbands
Day Zero continues to operate as a fully cashless event once inside the venue. All purchases, including food and beverages, are made using an RFID-enabled wristband.
Wristbands are collected at Tulum Mágico prior to boarding the shuttle and can be preloaded with funds at that point. Inside the festival, more than 12 recharge stations are available, accepting both cash and card.
There are several important conditions to note. Remaining balances are not refundable after the event. Bar prices already include tax and tip, and no direct cash or card payments are accepted at vendor points.
Prohibited items and security screening
To avoid delays at entry, organizers have published a comprehensive list of prohibited items. Large backpacks are not allowed, nor are beverages of any kind, except for empty containers. Food, inflatables, hula hoops, fireworks, fire poi, and corrosive substances are banned.
Other prohibited items include knives, pets, posters, flyers, professional cameras, selfie sticks, umbrellas, vapes, and lighters. Security screening is strict, and items found during checks will not be stored or returned.
Inside the festival grounds
The Day Zero Tulum 2026 site is divided into multiple functional areas designed to distribute crowds throughout the night. These include the Main Stage, El Teatro, The Club, and the dedicated XXTRA LOST area.
Additional zones include a market and food court, multiple bar areas, cashless recharge points, and medical services. Entrances and exits are clearly marked, and staff encourage attendees to familiarize themselves with key locations early in the evening.
The layout emphasizes steady movement rather than congestion. Organizers note that pacing oneself and identifying landmarks early can significantly improve comfort as the night advances.
Music programming and scale of the lineup
The 2026 edition features 30 artists performing across three stages, continuing the festival’s focus on underground house and techno. The lineup blends established international figures with emerging names, alongside several live performances integrated into the programming.
While the full running order spans the entire night, the structure avoids hard scheduling overlaps designed to push crowds toward a single stage. Instead, the experience encourages exploration across different areas of the site.
Ticket sales timeline and demand
Advance ticket sales opened with a presale that quickly moved the majority of capacity. Organizers have announced two key dates for remaining sales: early access registration opens on August 19 at 11:00 a.m. Tulum time, followed by general public sales at 3:00 p.m. the same day.
Given historical demand and the pace of current sales, availability for general admission tickets may be limited closer to the event date.
